Does anyone - aged now from 70 or over - remember filming taking place at Heathwood House? We knew it, circa 1940-50, as Captain James' House. My sister Barbara Houlton remembers stagecoaches being filmed drawing up to the house, along the track from the heath, and falling over (she was a child at the time!) She had a gravel rash from this incident and remembers Mr. Windmill from Heathend Road who was a nurse at Bexley Hospital, popping the blisters with a sterile needle. Barbara is wondering whether her memories of this event are correct. Can anyone corroborate or enlarge upon this? Her memory tells of the film being called "The Dover Road."
