Maypole Estate - welcomeThis is a featured page

Welcome to the Homepage for those interested in the history of the area known as Maypole Estate, Kent, England, and now also including Dartford Heath, and the immediate surrounding areas including - Baldwyns Park, Joydens Wood, Coldblow, Wansunt, Leyton Cross etc.

If you have any photos you would like to send in of yourself / family / friends / the area that you think others would enjoy then please send us an E Mail, attaching the image. We are thinking of creating a page / section dedicated to such. If you decide you would like to do so then please also submit information about those in the photo, the date taken and any special memories you have. Don't forget to mention who you are !
The Maypolehistory Team.

The site has attracted some 60 + active members and thousands of viewings over the years. In the main, contributions have come from those a generation or two (or three!) ago. We have no real stories from anyone who has memories to share from this current one - say in the last 20 years. So, if you are one of those 'youngsters' who would like to update the rest of us with what has been happening in our old haunts then do drop us a line.
